Tareveer Overview:
A perfect location to enjoy with nature and beautiful view point to see the wonderful scenic Kathmandu valley & Shivapuri National Park which takes you away from the noisy and busy Kathmandu city life. Simply, Half an hour drive to Jagdol which is gateway of Tareveer Hiking point, a historical landmark located at Gokarneswor municipality. The hiking trail is easy and It has become popular now for local people after Covid-19 Pandamic suffer.

Hiking Trail:
Once you steps into the park, The park will hearty welcome you with Pine forest & fluttering Buddhist prayer flags, which is amazingly picturesque attraction. Once the uphill end after one hour rocky trail climb & reach at on flat, where you will feel the real excursion of Tareveer and surrounding hills around within valley. The magnificent view of Kathmandu city, Kapan Monastery, countryside village & more are absolute catchy view in this trail. Infact, The hiking trail basically flat trail mostly with inside the woods, fantastic landscape and the wonderful place.

As soon, an hour easy walk you will step into the "TAREVEER VIEW POINT" where you can have rest and take a lunch if feeling hungry. This place naturally give you relax and enjoy the relaxation with nature. The Tareveer offer you a delighting experience in your forever life. As the hiking destination is so closed within Kathmandu valley.

This trail can be join any age either small family, student, senior citizen whatever. Take return journey, further half an hour hike down hill towards the Budhanilkantha which is famous Lord Vishnu Sleeping God located here at the base of Shivapuri Hill. You can also visit Monastery and Stupa at Budhanilkantha if you have enough time until the Kathmandu return. There are well connection with Ratna Park transportation either local bus or hire taxi to get back to Kathmandu..

HOW TO GET THERE:
Follow the road via Chabahill, Chuchepati, Sahid Park and then Jagdol at Gokarneshwor. (By Car 35 minutes) And return back Kathmandu via Budhanilkantha. (By Car 30 minutes).

TENTATIVE OUTLINE HIKING ITINERARY:
8.00 AM: PICK UP AT HOTEL & DRIVE TO SAHID PARK.
8.40 AM: EXPLORE SAHID PARK.
10.00 AM: HIKING START FROM JAGDOL (GOKARNESHWOR).
12.00 NOON: REACH TAREVEER VIEW POINT & SHORT BREAK FOR LUNCH.
1.30 PM: RETURN BACK TO BUDHANILKANTHA TEMPLE.
2.30 TO 3.30 PM: VISIT BUDHANILKANTHA GOD VISHNU TEMPLE, BUDDHIST MONASTERY & STUPA.
4.00 PM: RETURN BACK TO KATHMANDU - SERVICE END.
