Take to the Thar Desert dunes

Jodhpur, the colossal
Meherangarth Fort dominates the skyline of Jodhpur,
where alleys are filledwith bazars offering silver,
antiques, woodwork and textiles glore. |

Udaipur, Chill out with a chai
in a rooftop cafe or explore Udaipur's options from
cooking and yoga classes to cultural perormances and

Jojawar in rural Rajasthan,
the village of Jojawar is home to the tribal Rabari
people and their camel herds |

Day 12/13: |
Pushkar, This local market
town draws desert tribal people for trade and is
also a major pilgrimages site. It is hard to ignore
Pushkar's spritual vibe. |

Day 14/15: |
Jaipur, The "Pink City" has
enough bazars to keep you busy for a month. Visit
Amber Fort and catch a Bollywood film at the Raj
Mandir. Bollywood rocks! |

Day 16/17: |
Agra, Head on to Agra
via the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri and see the
world famous monuments to love -the Taj Mahal. Check
out the Red Fort and perhaps learn how to make a
carpet |

Varanasi, The sights and
sounds of Varanasi are out of this world. Join
pilgrims on the riverside ghats listening to
hypnotic puja bells while watching sacred ceremonial
rites. |

Joy" Kolkata is a vibrant cultural centre and one of
India's most frenetic and friendly cities. |
